BL61 has got a few versions, the normal one, the special edition, the custom edition and the DELUXE edition. Normally high end deluxe models are in Walnut color, to distinguish itself from the ordinary BL61.

3. Tonality and Voicing
The KAWAI BL61 Deluxe uses Royal George hammer, which are even higher end compare to any Kawai made hammer as Steinway & Son also uses Royal George hammer in some of their pianos. The tone is a little mellow but super rich, it sounds exactly like a standard size grand piano and after a few hammer filing by our skilled technician, this Kawai BL61 Deluxe plays better than any of our baby grand pianos that we have ever heard before.
You think i exaggerated ? Listen closely between the normal edition and the deluxe edition review that we have done.
4 . Conclusion
| When you get a chance to see BL61 Special or Deluxe edition, just buy without hesitation because these upright sounded like a standard grand piano and i assure you the resale value for the piano can be up to 80% of the value you bought ! If you wish to try out this model, i am sorry to tell you that this model has been sold and it will take maybe another 1-2 years to meet another BL61 Deluxe.
